Beer of the Week – 19/08/16

Another Friday – another beer of the week. A great week here in the office – as we were sent some awesome samples to try out which will be coming to a box soon (hush hush). We had a chance to sit down with Alan from Brewgooder and chat all about what their plans were and how excited they are to be featured in Beer52 boxes this month. But most exciting of all is our little excursion to Stewarts Brewing for a brew day. We headed out to the brewery on Thursday afternoon and in their beer kitchen we made our own single hop amber ale, which we will be trying very soon 🙂 We were also taken on a tour of their brewery and the whole experience was fascinating. With that in mind, we suppose there is only one choice for our beer of the week…

Stewarts have an awesome range of beer, its really difficult to pick a favourite. There are a few in your box this month and they’ve been getting rave reviews on social media. One of our personal favorites and one of their flagship beers is First World Problems. A Belgian IPA which pours a deep straw with a huge off-white head and lots of lacing. A blend of new world hops and fruity/ phenolic yeast esters on the nose. As assertive bitterness as well as copious amounts of flavours from the hops and at 6.2% there is a good little kick there as well. You can Grab it here! Big thank you again to the guys for our brew day 🙂

Thanks for reading!
